Warrington Market are gearing up for the start of the school summer holidays by launching a month of activity for kids across August.
Summer PlayDays take place every Wednesday and Saturday in August from 10am with a variety of different activities and different themes to ensure there is something that everyone can get involved in and enjoy!
The month kicks off as we welcome the Young Traders Market North West Regional Final to Warrington after the huge success of the Warrington heat earlier this month. The event will bring together winners from several local Young Traders Markets from across the region to compete for a place in the Grand Final in Stratford-upon-Avon at the end of August.
Other highlights include Magical Unicorn Day where you’ll be able to walk your own real life unicorn along with a variety of stalls each with their own unicorn twist as well as Dino Day, The Greatest Show and The Mad Hatters Big Brick Build Party.
Warrington Borough council leader, Cllr Russ Bowden said “Warrington Market is a fantastic asset for local people with so much to see and do.
“It’s wonderful to see so many different activities taking place at the market over the summer for children and families to enjoy. With the summer holidays often being an expensive time for families it’s great to see that these activities are free to attend.”
All events are completely free to attend and you can simply turn up and play. For more details check out Warrington Market on Facebook – @WarringtonMkt.
